The contents comprising Palmer's Field Service Pocket Book 1914, cutlery, water bottle, mirror, compass 'Verner's Pattern VII' 1918 in leather case and other items. A Captain L.S.N. Palmer serving with the Royal Dublin Fusiliers is listed as wounded on casualty list 26/9/15 whilst serving in the Mediterranean, he was mentioned in dispatches on the 28th January 1916 and is also recorded as being 'sick' on 19th October 1916.
