A 1967 Ford Cortina MkII DeLuxe two door saloon registration number LYC 508E, dark green. The reps favourite first saw the light of day in 1962 and would remain in production until 1982 in various styles and forms from the Mark I to the Mark V. It also found great success in saloon touring car racing and rallying in at the hands of some of the most illustrious racers including Graham Hill, Jim Clark and Sir John Whitmore. This low rail two door pre-crossflow Cortina comes from the second year of production. It is believed to have covered only 55,000 miles from new with its three registered keepers. Finished in dark green with a contrasting light green interior, the Cortina will be offered for sale with its original supplying dealer keyring, owners handbook, receipts and its most recent MOT which it passed without any advisories.
