This is a Chinese 19th century cinnabar vase carved with figures in a landscape on each side. There are also lotus flowers carved around the rim and a numerical marking on the base. A 19th Century Regency period Chinese Qing Dynasty Export Chinoiserie black lacquer ladies work table sewing box tidy. Raised on hairy pad feet with shaped lyre legs united by a single turned stretchers. Beautifully decorated with gilt and cinnabar court scenes of figures, warriors and buildings with with floral scroll details and borders. Measures 74cm x 62cm x 42cm.
