An early 19th century Irish yew wood Killarney inlaid folding games board, 58 x 58cm, and a set of twenty-seven backgammon pieces (13+14, two), and a pair of tapering dice shakers, height 9.9cm. CONDITION REPORT: Wear to the surface of the board commensurate with age, several areas of scratches and splits to the structure of the wood, also some wood imperfections and rubbing to the edges to the outside of the board.
19TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL GEOMETRICALLY INLAID AND BANDED FOLD OVER STRAIGHT FRONTED CARD TABLE in mixed woods, opening to reveal baize playing surface above a fall front frieze with separate backgammon board to the interior, standing on square tapering strung outlined legs with brass feet. 89 x 57 x 80cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition probably would originally have been on casters, some scuffs, marks and minor veneer losses to angles particularly and wear and tear commensurate with age.

A Victorian walnut and marquetry inlaid work table, the fold over games top inlaid with chess and backgammon boards over a slim drawer and work box with marquetry inlaid basket on fine barley twist carved end pillar supports united by similarly carved centre stretcher, raised on moulded cabriole leg to scroll feet and castors CONDITION REPORTS Very wobbly on legs, various scratches, chips, small losses of veneer, evidence of repairs to top, interior with some small chips to edges, loss of veneer in one section, small scratches and impressed marks, large crack running through the backgammon board and veneer lifting in places, veneer lifting around left-hand hinge on chess board side, interior of compartment : paper is worn/missing/ripped in places, To the front some small chips and losses, some scratches, lock escutcheon missing, veneers lifting, some evidence of woodworm holes to legs. All over shows signs of general wear and tear. Approx 57.5 cm x 70 cm
