A Victorian walnut and Florentine marquetry turnover top combined games and worktable, with backgammon, cribbage and chessboard surface. Width 65 cm, depth 40 cm, height 68.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is in generally good condition. The top is a good colour with no significant issues or veneer losses. It is not warped. The hinges are original. The gaming surfaces are in good order with no splits or fractures to the playing areas of any note. The veneers to the sides of the backgammon board have stress fractures along the joins and both the left and right hand sides. The swivel mechanism operates as it should. The frieze is in good condition all round. The frieze drawer and sliding bag are both a little stiff. The bag itself is in good order. All legs are in good condition as is the stretcher. We can see no evidence of any woodworm. The table may originally have had castors.
A Regency brass strung rosewood games table, with sliding reversible chess board top enclosing a backgammon board, over two frieze drawers, on end standards with turned stretcher and ormolu scroll feet, fitted brass castors, W.3ft D.1ft 9in. H.2ft 5in.CONDITION: Overall in honest untouched condition, the rosewood top is a little faded with one or two old cracks running in from the sides, central reversible panel shows more scuffing and has a slight upwards bowing more noticeable when the chess board is upwards, internally of good rich colour, one frieze drawer fitted to each side of the table with what look to be the original handles, underframe in good order, one old split to an upper scroll.

Johannes Natus, tätig 1658 "" 1662 TRIC-TRAC SPIELENDE SOLDATEN IN EINER SCHEUNE Öl auf Holz. 43 x 53 cm. Rechts unten auf Bank signiert und datiert "Natus fec. P 1659". In dekorativem Rahmen. In einer Scheune mit Holzdecke sitzt ein Mann an einem Tisch vor einem Spielbrett, ihm gegenüber ein elegant gekleideter Kavalier mit Hut und auffallend roter Strumpfhose und roten Schnürsenkeln in den dunklen Schuhen. In seiner rechten Hand hält er wohl die Würfel, während die andere Hand auf dem Brett ruht und von seinem Gegenüber festgehalten wird. Im Hintergrund zwischen beiden steht ein Zuschauer, der voller Interesse auf das Spiel blickt. Malerei in überwiegend monochromer Farbigkeit, aufgelockert durch weiße und rote Kleidungsstücke. From the collection of Valerie Leon - James Bond 007 - two rare original unseen contact sheets of images taken on-set of The Spy Who Loved Me, largely featuring Leon in a variety of publicity photograph poses, but some also showing Roger Moore. Of particular interest is an 'unseen' image of Leon posing with Moore, and a lovely image of Moore seated alongside Cubby Broccoli playing backgammon. Both contact sheets 8x10". Ms Leon has had two enlargements produced of the aforementioned photographs. Rare items of Bond memorabilia.
