1940s Collection of over 60 Football League programmes, forties, includes Everton v Brentford 46/7 ( first after war) and v Chelsea, Wolves v Arsenal 47/8, good Villa, Birmingham, Chelsea, Fulham , Man City and QPR representation. Also includes Pompey v Liverpool 47/8, Chelsea v Man Utd 49/50 and Spurs v Grimsby 49/50 (promotion souvenir issue). Condition varies considerably, some are only fair at best and viewing is suggested although many are at least generally good, good mix of 45/6 to 49/50 seasons. As described
1940s SPECIALS 10 "high-value" programmes in various condition, 1948 Cup Final (tape on spine, rusty staples, score), Chelsea v Moscow Dynamo 45/6 ( worn, spine split), Man Utd v Wolves 49 Semi replay ( spine split), Chelsea v Arsenal 50 Semi ( slightly tatty), England v Wales 46 (at Man City, tape , back cover part missing), England v Switzerland 46 ( spine taped), England v Scotland 47 ( folds, score ), Wales v Scotland 48 ( score, scorers, small tears to edge), Scotland v Ireland 50 ( tape along spine, score, scorers) and Ireland v Scotland 55 ( fold, score). Condition is as described, one or two are at least fair but majority are poor-fair. As
ARSENAL Home programme v Racing Club De Paris, 30/11/1932, first of what was to become a regular fixture between the two teams both pre-war and post-war. Apparently Arsenal beat the French National team 26-1 in December 1904, so the French were looking for revenge !!!. This issue has a slight fold, rusty staples have been removed, but this apart the programme is in good condition. Generally good
