ARSENAL: Selection of large 4to cards signed by various Arsenal football players including Pat Jennings, Sammy Nelson, David O'Leary, Frank Stapleton, Malcolm Macdonald, Graham Rix, Willie Young, Pat Rice, Alan Hudson, Terry Neill, Liam Brady, David Price, Alan Sunderland, Brian Talbot, John Matthews, Bob McNab, George Armstrong etc. A little duplication. Many of the cards are multiple signed and most have attached colour magazine photographs etc. Each with file holes to the left edges, not affecting the signatures. A few with some very light staining and some with light pencil annotations in the hand of the collector. Generally VG, 16
ARSENAL: A hardback edition of Arsenal! Arsenal!, being an Official Souvenir edition published by Arsenal FC in commemoration of their 'Double' as Football League Champions and FA Cup winners, 1971, individually signed to the front free endpaper by twenty members of the Arsenal squad of 1970-71 including George Graham, Bob McNab, Bob Wilson, Sammy Nelson, Charlie George, George Armstrong, John Roberts, Peter Marinello, Peter Simpson, Pat Rice, Peter Storey, Frank McLintock, John Radford, Ray Kennedy, Bertie Mee (manager) etc. Neatly mounted (appropriately with red tape) to the inside front cover is a printed 8vo certificate issued with the book and presenting it to Dr. J. Crane 'in recognition of valuable services to the club during our greatest season', signed at the base by Denis Hill-Wood (chairman). Two further inside pages feature five neatly mounted original ticket stubs for various football matches including England vs. Wales 1973, England vs. Yugoslavia 1972 and the FA Cup Final 1971. An interesting association copy. Some very light, minor staining, only very slightly affecting the signatures and some light wear to the red leather and gilt stamped covers, otherwise about VG Dr. John Crane (d.2009) Arsenal FC and England doctor who led England's medical team at four World Cups in 1986, 1990, 1998 & 2002.
ARSENAL: A red short sleeve Nike souvenir Arsenal football jeresy, with Fly Emirates sponsorship logo to the front, individually signed by nineteen members of the Arsenal football squad of 2006-07 including Thierry Henry, Gilberto Silva, Emmanuel Eboue, Alex Song, Kolo Toure, Philippe Senderos, Manuel Almunia, Tomas Rosicky, Mathieu Flamini etc. All have signed in black inks, adding their squad numbers beneath their signatures. Professionally mounted and matted in black and gold and framed and glazed in a gold coloured frame to an overall size of 36 x 40. VG

Alles in Warhols frühen Zeichnungen scheint sich der künstlerischen Sprache der Zeit zu widersetzen. Warhol verfolgt mithilfe seines streng linearen, jeden künstlerischen Duktus verneinenden Zeichenstils auf Basis der Kontur einen Gegenentwurf zu der gestischen Bildsprache des abstrakten Expressionismus. Hatte Jackson Pollock gerade die amerikanische Kunst von der Kontur befreit und durch das von ihm begründete Action Painting revolutioniert, so wird der ausdrucksvollen malerischen Geste und der künstlerischen Dokumentation reiner Empfindung auf der Malfläche von Warhol eine strenge grafische Ideomatik entgegengesetzt. In den 1950er Jahren experimentiert Warhol in seinen Papierarbeiten nicht nur mit dem `Umdruckverfahren`, das der einzelnen Linie eine neue, von der persönlichen Handschrift des Künstlers abstrahierte Qualität verleiht, sondern auch mit der additiven und seriellen Kombination von Zeichen. Und so steht der von visuellen Formeln wie Herz, Schiffchen, Stern, Mund und Sonne bevölkerte Hintergrund der vorliegenden Porträtzeichnung in Verbindung mit Warhols zeitgleich entstandenen Stempelbildern. George Eastham Colour 8x12 photograph signed by 1966 World Cup England squad member George Eastham. He played for Newcastle and Arsenal and was an unused player in the 1966 World Cup and received his winner`s medal in 2009 after a campaign to award winner`s medals to squad players. Good condition

PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN BY BRUNÉEL A LYON, CIRCA 1830 with twist sighted barrels, engraved breech, engraved tang incorporating the back-sight, flush-fitting locks signed in ovals enclosed by fronds, figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip and fore-end, the former carved with a green man mask in the round, raised cheek-piece carved with a griffon, steel mounts including trigger-guard with finial of shaped outline and hinged butt-cap concealing cavities for balls, percussion caps and a bayonet, white metal barrel bolt escutcheons and vacant escutcheon, and associated ramrod 86.5 cm; 34 1/8 in barrels Brunel is recorded in Lyon circa 1825-50. He invented a percussion gun that was tested by the French army in 1827 and was manufactured in the following year at the Maubeuge arsenal.
AN INDIAN SWORD (KHANDA) 17TH/18TH CENTURY AND THREE FURTHER INDIAN SWORDS (TALWAR), 19TH CENTURY the first with tapering blade double-edged towards the point, iron hilt including a pair of shaped langets enclosing the forte, cross-piece formed as a pair of addorsed bird`s heads, disc-shaped pommel, and integral grip, in a later scabbard; the second with curved blade retaining traces of a magic square on one face at the forte, and iron hilt including knuckle-guard with recurved terminal in its scabbard; the third similar, in its scabbard; and the fourth with a punched arsenal inscription on the blade and brass hilt retaining traces of silver plating the first: 91.3 cm; 36 in blade (4)

C. 1933 - 34 including the Manager, Herbert Chapman and Alex James who was a Scottish Internationalist, also including the signatures of Rangers F.C. 1933 - 34, and signatures from Manchester United F. C. from that same period Provenance; These rare signatures were obtained by the vendors grandfather who was a headmaster and a steward at Arsenal F. C. at that time, the Rangers signatures relate to the British Cup which was played between Arsenal and Rangers
