MANCHESTER UNITED AWAYS Thirteen United away programmes between 1956 and 63, ten from the 50s including 55/6 at Arsenal (four pages-small punch-holes), West Ham 58/9 (Moore debut), 58/9 at Man City, Wolves, Leeds, Arsenal, Portsmouth, 59/60 at Liverpool (Cup), Birmingham, 60/61 at Leicester, Shef Wed, 62/3 at Coventry (Cup) and Semi-Final v Southampton, 62/3 at Villa Park. Some scores noted, minor faults. Generally good
DUNCAN EDWARDS Magnificent large photograph of Duncan which is very tastefully mounted. The photograph (black and white) shows Duncan signing an autograph for a youngster on the Highbury pitch before playing his last match for United on English soil before the Munich Air Disaster . United went on to beat Arsenal 5-4 in the game, 1/2/58 and the famous clock shows the time to be five minutes to three. This photograph measures 51cm x 60cm including the mount and is ready for framing. Edwards scored in the game and there is an inscription below the photograph reading "February 1st 1958 Highbury Arsenal 4 Manchester United 5 Duncan Edwards Manchester United". Very good
NEWCASTLE 1950s Thirty three Newcastle home programmes, all 50s, 3 x 50/1, 2 x 52/3, 1 x 53/4 , 1 x 54/5, 11 x 55/6, 13 x 56/7, 57/8 v Arsenal, some are good, others have faults, one has punch-holes, some scores etc noted, a few have name of opposition on cover. Minor duplication in 56/7 season. Fair-generally good.
Arsenal Combination Cup Winners Medal 52/53: Gold medal reads to rear ""Winners 52/53 Arsenal FC FJA Cox"" with gold hallmark and Vaughtons medal makers initials. Fred Cox played in the 1950 + 1952 FA Cup Finals for Arsenal but this season only played 9 first team matches so ended his career at Arsenal winning this medal.
