Eastern Command included players from Moillwall, Hearts, Man City, Blackpool, Luton, Norwich, Chester and Crewe whilst AA Command included players from Southampton, Arsenal, Chesterfield, Shef Utd, Swansea and Lincoln. SHERRIFF OF LONDON SHIELD 1932 - ARSENAL Arsenal home programme v Corinthians, 26/10/1932, Sherriff of London Shield, Arsenal won 9-2 in front of a sparse crowd of 9,493. This trophy was presented in 1898 by Lord Dewar and until 1907 it was for all intents and purposes , The Charity Shield and was played for between the best Amateur and Best Professional Club of each season until 1907 after which The Charity Shield was inaugurated by the FA. Standard Arsenal issue. Scorers, etc noted, staple a little rusty but no damage to other pages. Fair-generally good
