1968 EUROPEAN CUP FINAL REPLAY / MANCHESTER UNITED V BENFICA / AT ARSENAL F.C. An original uncut sheet with all 16 pages of the programme planned for the scheduled Replay at Highbury on 31/5/1968. However the match was not played as United won 4-1 at Wembley. The sheet was printed by the Arsenal printers, King and Jarrett Limited and they were advised to destroy the programmes. It is obvious to the naked eye that the item is 100% genuine and not a reprint. The sheet has been folded in half three times to make the size similar to other programmes of this season. Very good

US Model 1888 .45-70 Trapdoor Springfield LICENCE REQUIRED US Model 1888 .45-70 Trapdoor Springfield, 32.5 inch barrel fitted with folding ladder Buffington 1884 model adjustable rear sight and blade front sight with cover, combination ramrod spike bayonet, full stock with 1892 inspector's cartouche and stamped with unit markings '24 94' and '24th Sep Co.' the lock with traces of original blue, Birmingham nitro proof stamps, serial number 539200. Fitted with a Rock Island Arsenal leather sling. Together with 57 CCI and Federal Primers.UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .45 RIFLE VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED132cm long The rifle is in good general condition, with some original finish remaining. The areas where the finish is worn have some light speckling and minor surface pitting. The bore is in good shape with no damage or faults. The action works with a strong spring as does the extractor. The stock has the usual odd dent, scratch or mark but nothing defacing. There are four short splits around the lockplate area and one near the trigger guard (probably from wood shrinkage) the stock however appears strong and stable. The sling is still usable but it is perishing is small places.
Carl Gustav Swedish 6.5x55 bolt action rifle LICENCE REQUIRED Carl Gustav Swedish 6.5x55 bolt action rifle, 29inch barrel fitted with tangent rear sight, the receiver with 1917 date, serial number 423219.UK RFD OR FIREARMS LICENCE WITH CORRECT VARIATION REQUIRED.125cm long All serial numbers match, there is no number to the cleaning rod or magazine floor plate, and screw heads do not have numbers in the same way German Mausers have. Some parts have been renumbered (numbers stamped over the top of existing serial numbers) probably in an arsenal overhaul. The renumbered parts are those such as barrel bands, butt plate, magazine plate, bolt release. The three numbers on the bolt and that on the receiver look to be original. The bluing is in good order and as is the polish to the bolt. The stock has numerous knocks and marks but no splits or repairs. There is a rough patch to the finish where you would place your cheek when firing the rifle, with a little attention this could be improved. The mark in photo 9 is a dent to the wood and not a split, it is probably from a bayonet lug of another rifle when these guns have been stacked in a pile. There is some corrosion to the butt plate. The action works correctly. The bore shows wear from use but there is a strong rifling pattern remaining and no obvious faults or pitting. The crown is in a good state.
Rare East India Company Brunswick .703 Type 1 rifle Rare East India Company Brunswick .703 Type 1 rifle, 30 inch two groove barrel rifled for belted ball, fitted with bayonet bar and fixed rear sight with one folding leaf, back action lock with lion, London proof marks and EIC inspection marks as well as Indian arsenal marks, the ramrod engraved with rack number 224.One of only 3,800 made between February 1840 and August 1842, (see D. Harding 'Small Arms of the East India Company' Volume 2 pp 176-181). The rifle is accompanied by a copy of Black Powder magazine Summer 2007 with an article on this exact rifle by David Williams.Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.118cm long The rifle has a nice dark pleasing overall patina. The action works correctly. The bore has a good strong rifling pattern with only a few scattered pitting patches. The metalwork generally has light overall speckled pitting. The lock side nail screw head has been chewed up from use. The brass patchbox cover is a well made replacement. The stock has the usual dents and marks of a military gun. There is a spliced repair to the thinnest part of the stock where the wood meets the barrel just before the bayonet bar, there is another similar repair in the same place on the other side of the gun. Owing to the dark patina of the stock, these repairs are barely noticeable unless very strong light is applied or the barrel is taken off the stock. The muzzle end barrel key is a little loose.
Flintlock musket and bayonet Flintlock musket, previously an East India Company with erased marks to the lock, 39inch .750 barrel, handrail stock possibly an Indian arsenal replacement carved with an apron around the barrel tang, fitted with brass furniture, and non fitting ramrod, together with a turned wood tompion and an East India Company marked bayonet.Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.140cm long
East India Company flintlock pistol East India Company 16 bore flintlock pistol, 9 inch barrel with London proof marks and Indian arsenal marks, fitted with swivel ramrod, the Baker designed lock stamped with London motif and inspector's stamp, brass furniture, the side plate marked 'MG00'. Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.40cm longThe pistol has a correctly working action. The bore has some light pitting marks similar to the exterior of the barrel. The stock has had a repair to the very end near the muzzle. It appears that the section of wood underneath the brass cap has been damage and this has been replaced with a small section. The swivel ramrod and area of the ramrod look like they have been splashed with wood stain which has been used to darken down the new section of wood. There is a chipped area to the stock where the thinnest part of the wood meets the barrel. The stock also has a small short split beside the side nail. The stock and brasswork have many dents and marks typical of a military gun.
