19th Century French Cuirassier’s Cuirass. A good late 19th Century example, the breastplate is of heavy polished steel mounted with brass studs to the front. Backplate complete with brass studs and shoulder straps of brass interlinked rings also plain brass tangs. The interior is with engraved details of the Arsenal and dated 1877. Minor age wear GC. Clean condition.

A Comprehensive collection of Arsenal Football Programmes from 1974-99 including League, FA Cup, League Cup and Friendlies/testimonials and Arsenal Away Programmes from 1974-1991. Also included is the double season from 1970-71 (Complete home and Away) and is the unbeaten season of 2003-2004 (complete Home and Away). Also included are all Arsenal v Spurs games home and away from 1946 - 1999 and all Arsenal Cup finals and semi finals from 1950-2006 including the Sheffield Wednesday replay from 1993. these are housed in 71 handmade binders with gold lettering for each season. Also included is a 1936 Arsenal V Grimsby and many more programmes from the 1950's.
ARSENAL F.C.: Two adjoining pages removed from an autograph album individually signed by seventeen Arsenal F.C. players of 1933, who won both the First Division Championship and FA Charity Shield, including Joe Hulme, Eddie Hapgood, Cliff Bastin, David Jack, Alex James, Leslie Compton, Ray Bowden, Frank Moss, Herbie Roberts, George Male, Bob John, Jack Lambert etc. All have signed with their names alone in bold black fountain pen inks. VG
ARSENAL F.C.: Two pages removed from an autograph album individually signed by fifteen members of an Arsenal football team of the 1970s, some of whom were part of the club's historic double winning team of 1971, including Bob Wilson, Bob McNab, George Armstrong, Eddie Kelly, Peter Simpson, Alan Ball, Liam Brady etc. Together with two separate signed cards by the Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson (featuring a small portrait) and England goalkeeper Gordon Banks. Some slight tape stains, lightly affecting some signatures. G, 4

*Tom Whittaker. Arsenal Manager 1947-1956. Arsenal contracts. Original typewritten three year contract between Arsenal Football Club and Whittaker, dated 1953 and signed by two Arsenal Directors G. Bracewell Smith and Denis Hill-Wood and by Whittaker and dated 12th October 1950. Sold with an original extension contract for an additional five years as Manager and an original lease agreement on his house which Arsenal owned, both signed by Whittaker and the Directors and dated 27th November 1952. Folds, good condition Whittaker never saw his full contract out, he died of a heart attack at the University College Hospital, London in 1956

Season 1934-1935’, Lambert Jackson and a card signed by George Swindin. G
F.A. Cup Final 1936. Arsenal v Sheffield United. Official programme for the Final played at Wembley on 25th April 1936. The programme nicely signed in ink to centre ‘field of play’ by the Arsenal team and Trainer, Tom Whittaker. Thirteen signatures, Wilson, Male, Hapgood, Crayston, Hulme, Bowden, Roberts, Drake, Copping, James, Bastin, Beasley and Whittaker. Lacking staples, rust marks to staple holes, minor wear to covers otherwise in good condition Arsenal beat Sheffield United 1-0 in the final with the only goal scored by Drake
Denis Compton. A small typed letter acknowledging a request for an autographed photograph, signed by Compton. Old tape to top corners and two pin holes otherwise good condition. Also a laid down sheet signed by Compton, vertical fold and age toning otherwise good, and a programme for a cricket match between Arsenal and Middlesex held at Highbury on 12th August 1949 in aid of Compton’s benefit. Scores annotated in pencil to rear, slight rubbing to spine otherwise good condition
