FOOTBALL: An oblong 8vo sheet of stationery individually signed to the verso by nine footballers, all of whom played in the English football league, comprising Bobby Moore (Captain of England's World Cup winning team of 1966), Dave Mackay (a member of Tottenham Hotspur's Double-winning side of 1961), Pat Jennings (FA Cup winner with both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal), Alan Mullery (FA Cup winner with Tottenham Hotspur in 1967 and the first ever England player to be sent off in an international match), Cliff Jones (a member of Tottenham Hotspur's Double-winning side of 1961), Cyril Knowles (FA Cup winner with Tottenham Hotspur in 1967), Peter Bonetti (a member of England's World Cup winning squad of 1966), Trevor Brooking (FA Cup winner with West Ham United in 1975 & 1980, scoring the only goal in the latter final) and Terry Mancini. All have signed in blue inks and two further unidentified signatures appear in the upper left corner. The printed verso of the sheet gives partial details of a seating plan for a Dinner and Boxing evening organised by the World Sporting Club in London on 12th January 1976. Accompanied by a further unsigned slim folio printed sheet with further details of the seating plan for the same event, indicating that a number of the signatories were seated on the top table. A small staple hole to the upper edge, only very slightly affecting one of the unidentified signatures, otherwise VG £100-150
