ARSENAL Unusual Five - a -side fixture against The Rest of England, 1950. This was part of the National Festival of Youth and Sport held at Wembley Arena in June 1950. The Arsenal team included Scott, Rooke, Macaulay, Barnes, MacPherson. The Rest were represented by Carter, Lawton, Swift, Leuty and Ward. WALSALL / ARSENAL Official programme for Walsall v Arsenal, 14/1/1933, Walsall provided an almighty upset by defeating First Division Champions elect Arsenal who had three players making their only appearance ever for the Arsenal first team. Third Division North Walsall won the game 2-0.
