A Robert ``Mouseman`` Thompson Oak Cheese Board, with carved mouse signature on the board, 37cm Cheese boards were first produced in the 1930`s. Early examples were produced with the mouse carved at right angles to the handle and positioned on the board itself. In the 1960`s the mouse began to appear carved on the handle. Scratches/knife marks on the board. Damage to the ridge of the mouse`s back - possibly from knife. 111114
