An excellent example of the extremely popular 3′ solid oak refectory style coffee table by Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson. Of rectangular form with an adzed single plank top with lovely natural graining patterns, supported on two octagonally carved baluster legs with sledge feet, joined by a floor set stretcher. Signature mouse carving to one leg.

The single chairs are particularly faded and the timber is very dry. The leather seats are worn and stained (as photographed). Both armchairs are structurally sound, however, the joints in each of the single chairs are slightly loose, with movement most notably in the back supports. Various scuffs throughout all of the chairs to the framework and legs. See further images.
