A Robert Thompson (Mouseman) Oak Blanket Box, of rectangular form with hinged lid and stile feet, carved to the front panel with an arched design with foliage, centrally dated 1929, inset carved mouse signature, 65cm high, 114cm wide, 46.5cm deep.Lot 1480 - Shrinkage of wood, a small gap to the lid, old cracks to the top of lid. Two batons to the underneath of lid. Come out of a house privately. Scratches and black marks to the lid, cracks to the back of the coffer, cracks to the carving front of blanket box and wood loss, cracks to the base of blanket box, all the cracks on the blanket box are due to knots in the wood.

Robert Thompson of Kilburn (1876-1955)1930/1940's Mouseman bowl, oak, carved mouse signature to outside, 24cm x 23cm across (Shrinkage over time has cause the bowl to not be perfectly circular)Condition report: Overall minimal signs of display wear and use, shrinkage over time which has distorted the circular shape. Small old split, most visible from the underside of the bowl, otherwise seems ok.
