A late 18th Century longcase clock, the painted arched dial with rolling moon phase depicting landscape and a ship under full sail, the dial painted with exotic birds and allegorical figures to the spandrels, seconds dial and date aperture, indistinctly inscribed R L**ton S**ngewood, in mahogany and inlaid case with broken swan neck pediment with brass ball finial and acorn and oak leaf paterae on ebonised fluted columns, the trunk door with shell paterae, on splayed feet, with shaped apron, 84 1/2" high
