William Henry `Harry` Warmington of Campden An Arts & Crafts silver hammered bowl, on three feet, with gadrooned border and gadrooned edging to the feet, Birmingham 1954, 24cm diameter. Harry Warmington began as a silversmith at the Campden School of Arts & Crafts. He was known for his engraving and letter cutting in metal, and he worked in the Hart workshop in Chipping Campden from 1914 until 1966. Together with George Hart, he revived C. R. Ashbee`s Campden School of Arts and Crafts (which had closed in 1916) in the 1940s, teaching a new generation of craftsmen in the arts of silver and metalwork.
