Speck inclusion on the side from the making process. Light natural wear to metal elements. Overall good condition.
René Lalique (French 1860-1945), 'Coquilles No2', No.3201, an opalescent glass shade with a glass halo and mounts attributed to the Breves Galleries, Designed 1924, engraved R. Lalique France, No.3201, Moulded as four overlapping shells, with brass mounts and chains, the opaque and frosted glass halo sits on the mounts and has three clips that hold it in place, Coquilles approximately 21 cm diameter, with halo 44.5 cm diameter Coquilles has been drilled to support the mounts and chains, as is typical for bowl shade. Mounts have not been removed and condition appears to be alright. Brass mounts have aged and tarnished and natural wear. The halo has some chips that have been frosted over on the inside rim and are not noticed when in place. Some dirt and marks.

Lalique France, Moulded with a spiralling abstract pattern,20.3 cm diameter The rim is flat, not rounded, and has some tiny nicks and chips to the rim and some minor polishing. There is a vertical scratch about one centimetre long on the inside. There are a few tiny open bubble on the outside (how it was made), and some abrasions. Some light natural wear to base in keeping with age.

A GOLD SIGNET RING set with a foiled glass intaglio, engraved with the coat of arms believed to be of Mary Stewart and initials M R; 2 cms wide, together with a Victorian printed box with label "Queen Mary's Signet Ring, from the collection of the late Earl of Buchan" *There was a Mary Stewart, Countess of Buchan (1434/35). Queen Mary I used similar arms 1554-1558. The arms on the ring could be a Victorian creation.
