A good Chinese carved ivory brush pot, late 19th century, finely carved with scholars viewing rocks with attendants all beneath a pine tree, the opposing side with a young girl upon a bridge above two ducks and two attendants all between pine and willow trees, all between bands of prunus, bamboo, lotus flower and insect borders. There is a circular watermark to the top from water exiting a flower pot, the water mark runs to the edge. The top is a two piece veneer. General scuffs and scratches throughout. Water spot marks throughout the base. This is a little tired and attention will be needed (AT FAULT)
