A very fine quality circa 1900 gold half hunter pocket watch having a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued hands and subsidiary seconds. The high jewel count movement jewelled to the centre, full Geneva escapement, split compensation balance with Breguet over coil hairspring with kidney end stones to pallet and escape wheel, wolf tooth winding and protected by a glazed cover. The case signed 'Marius LeCoultre Rue Bonivard 8 Geneve' numbered 3244, 49mm, 103.6gMarius LeCoultre, a watchmaker and retailer located in Geneva, founded his own company in 1848. He specialized in unusual and high quality watches, developed a retrograde date system and was awarded an honourable mention during the Geneva Chronometer Contest in 1887. At the Chicago Universal Exhibition in 1893 he exhibited complicated and precision timepieces.

Diameter 36 mm. NOTE: The watch comes with a silver plated Omega watch box (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The original dial is in generally good order with only minor surface blemishes. The watch glass has some scratches and there are two small cracks. The movement winds and appears to be ticking away as it should. The pointers adjust correctly. The case is in generally good order with only very minor blemishes. The bracelet has some wear but is serviceable.
A two day marine chronometer by Graham and Parkes, 43 Canning Place Liverpool "Makers To The Admiralty", Number 4326, circa 1870/80, 5" with silvered dial with gimbal and three tier mahogany brass bound outer case, bearing ivory plaque Graham and Parkes, "Makers To The Admiralty", Liverpool. Case dimensions 19.5 cm x 18.3 cm x 18.5 cm. Sold with ivory certification CU4P1RBN (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The chronometer winds and is currently ticking away. The outer case is in extremely good order being of good colour. All brasswork is original and in extremely good condition. The chronometer dial is in extremely good order as is the gimbal and locking mechanism. The key is present, there are various service papers contained in the upper tier.

Diameter 4", housed in gimbal and with three tier case bearing plaque "Brockbank and Atkins 1265" and with brass carrying handle to either side. Case dimensions 16.5 cm x 16 cm x 16 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and is currently ticking. The mahogany case is in extremely good order with only very minor blemishes. The brass plaque to the case top is tarnished around the edges. The remaining brasswork is all in good order. The case key is present as is the winding key. The silvered dial is in good order, the gimbal and interior brasswork are in good condition also. The locking mechanism operates as it should.
