AMENDMENT TO CATALOGUE A good Thomas Mercer TWO DAY (NOT EIGHT DAY) marine chronometer, circa 1876, no. 5263, in coromandel brass inlaid case with the seller's mother-of-pearl tablet of C. Pickering & Co., Middlesbrough and inside the paper label of Frodsham & Keen, stating the instrument to have been cleaned, April 1909 together with five of their certificates for 1910, 1911 and 1912, each made out to Captain Parry of Ship Bostonian, lacks key. (See illustration) Condition Report: The number of the back plate matches the number on the front of the movement.
