An 18 ct gold cased open faced pocket watch, London 1880, having a fusee movement with engraved backplate for "William Dixon, 45 King Square, London, Chronometer Maker to The Admiralty" and numbered "49513", the white enamel dial with subsidiary up/down dial and seconds dial, with Roman numerals (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The rear of the watch is engraved with initials. The watch case is in extremely good condition with no significant blemishes. The dial is in very good order with no cracks. The pointers adjust. The movement is fully wound and only running for approx 10-15 seconds at a time. The watch glass is loose.
