CAUGHLEY ETC. A pair of Caughley gilt-spot tea bowls, c.1790, two English porcelain cups & saucers & and English porcelain sauce boat. CONDITION REPORTS: The cream jug is in generally good condition, there is a very small area on the outer edge which looks like a bruise, or flaking to the gilding. There is other rubbing to the gilding around the rim of the jug. Both tea bowls are in good condition with no cracks, chips or signs of restoration. However, on the inside of one of the bowls, there are firing/pitting issues to the gilding, approx 3/4cm. The cups and saucers have much ware to the gilt edge, one of the cups has a noticeable flaking chip on the outer edge of the front rim. Post and packing to a UK address would be approx. £26.
Nine 18th century English porcelain teabowls six by Worcester (one with workman's mark) one by Chelsea Derby, another by Lowestoft and one by Caughley, (9) Condition report: Caughley: hairline crack. Chelsea Derby chip and hairline. Lowestoft: section broken and restuck with small losses. Worcester polychrome fruit bowl: gilt wear but no damage. Worcester polychrome floral: section restuck. Worcester Mansfield: rim chip. Three final Worcester teabowls: broken and restuck. Old flaking restoration to the workman's mark piece.

A Collection of Decorative 19th Century China: Four Decorative Cabinet Cups & Saucers and a Caughley tea bowl and saucer: The cups including a fluted Worcester example decorated with scenic roundels amidst floral bouquets and insects. Another fluted example with scalloped rim delicately painted with blue dot garlands and gilding. A Bloor Derby example decorated in the Imari palette and enriched with gilding. A pair of Derby blue Chantilly pattern plates with moulded borders and decorative hand painted floral sprigs, 10 ins (26 cms) in diameter, a pair of Mintons plates printed in blue with floral sprays and having moulded scroll borders, 10 ins (26 cms) in diameter, and a small hand painted blue & white plate decorated with a perched bird in centre roundel surrounded by six segment panels of flowering foliage divided by subsidiary panels, 8 ins (20 cms) in diameter.
Pair of 18th Century Caughley straight-sided coffee cans, decorated with Chinese style pagodas within landscapes. Underglazed, 'C' marks. Circa 1780. Together with two Staffordshire blue and white printed pottery bowls and a small 18th Century blue and white floral decorated bowl. (5) CONDITION REPORT: One pedestal bowl in very poor condition - chips cracks & losses. The other bowl in poor condition. Heavy crazing, hairlines + chips. Both coffee cans in good condition for age. Some general wear as expected.

(4) Provenance: from a private collection in the Cotswolds.
Two Caughley blue and white teabowls and saucers, c.1780-90, one printed with the Birds in Branches pattern, the other with the Fenced Garden pattern, a smaller saucer in the same pattern with a coffee cup in the Fence and House pattern, together with a small plate painted with stylized floral sprigs, S marks to some, one teabowl cracked, 17cm max. (7) Provenance: from a private collection in the Cotswolds.
