A Caughley blue and white chestnut basket and cover circa 1775 decorated with pine cone pattern, the basket of lobed shape with moulded honeycomb ground, with painted flowers and applied flowers beneath the handles; together with a Worcester strainer and associated standQty: 2Some chipping to the applied decoration is noticeable on the lid and flowers, some cracks within the glaze and further chipping to the applied floral decoration on the dish around the handles. Evidence of restoration to the stand for the strainer with a crack running the full diameter and with glued sections to one edge. Scratches to glaze throughout.
