They were produced across the world from 1948-1951 in the UK, Switzerland, New Zealand and even Australia. This Velox was purchased purely for the use in a family member’s wedding and has seen little work since with the odd Sunday drive out and then put into storage when not in use. The blue paintwork presents well, accented by white wall tyres and chrome trim. The leather interior looks recently trimmed and features blue piping, complimenting the blue carpet. The engine seems to run smoothly although the column shifter linkages in the engine bay do needs some work as it does struggle to engage gears.With a little work this unusual British saloon car offers pre-war luxury in a post-war elegant saloon.
