Enamel Advertising Sign, no text but an interesting example having a 'brick-work' background with a house on the left and a windmill on the right. Loss at the top. Together with Advertising Tinplate "John Haig Pinch Bottle Scotch Whiskey - Same As Supplied To HM King Edward VII" measuring 19" x27". Additionally, a Garage Closed Sign and a Tinplate Advertising Sign for Cherry Blossom Shoe Polish depicting the Kittens in Boots. This is an original example with "Printed & Produced by Chiswick Products Ltd., London W4 Manufacturers Of Cherry Blossom, Mansion, Min, Cardinal, Seel and Swift info at the bottom. Measures 28" x 17½", good overall condition.

An English tobacco advertising sign early 20th century painted with `will's bulwark cut plug tobacco' and signed lower right 'Bodsworth bros. Sheffield', in a stained wood frame 37 x 52.1/4 in. (94 x 132.5 cm.) together with an English tobacco advertising mirror, early 20thcentury, inscribed for "player's "tawny" navy cut" and signed `Arnold & Samsum shop fitters Northampton' -- 27.1/2 x 29.1/4 in. (69.8 x 74.2cm.); and a late Victorian advertising mirror, etched for 'scotch beef', in a mahogany frame.
A Scottish George IV rosewood tea table by James Mein of Kelso , with crossbanded, fold-over top, the printed trade label inscribed in ink with the name Jeffy(?) and number 16460, the breakfront frieze on turned pillar with crisply carved acanthus leaf knop and calyx on platform and beaded feet, 75cm h; 101 x 50cm James Mein (1759-1830), the son of Alexander Mein, upholsterer of Edinburgh and Kelso supplied furniture to the Duke of Roxburghe at Floors Castle and the Earl of Haddington at Mellerstein. As was his practice, his elegant grecian trade label numbered and inscribed with the abbreviated name of the journeyman cabinet maker is also found on a mahogany chest of drawers at the latter house.
