Y AN ANGLO-INDIAN EXOTIC HARDWOOD LINEN PRESS SECOND HALF 18TH CENTURY The doors opening to two sliding trays 161cm high, 119cm wide, 64cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips, splits and losses The handles and escutcheons are later replacements and the previous fixings to the reverse of the drawer fronts are now plugged. Carrying handles to the sides are likely later. Some old plugged repairs to the sides and above the central escutcheons The lower back panel has a cut out section to the lower right to allow cables or similar to be installed - scotch tape applied between back panels to secure splits. A key is present and it operates the lock to the central door, and the top right drawer. The other two locks are lacking keys but are open. The cabinet top with later tray runners secured with screws. The oak sliding trays are later associated. Please see additional images as a visual reference to condition. Condition Report Disclaimer

Some old chips, splits, losses and repairs Overall of good colour and patina Some drawers with later runners and sections of timber applied Scotch tape applied to the underside of some drawers to secure splits to linings A key is present and operates the lock to the upper cabinet, key for the drawers is lacking - all locks open Escutcheons, handles and lock plates appear original, the hinges to the cabinet doors are later replaced, sections of replacement timber inset where this work has been carried out.
