A job lot of textiles to include: Far Eastern woven mats 1940/50 in various colourways on black backgrounds; a quantity of lace tablecloths; a 1930 broderie Anglaise cover over a small cushion; a crocodile purse; a paper fan; a 1930/40 leatherette hatbox containing a blue straw hat with white rose detail on crown, a green felt hat with pheasant's feather made on the Rhine (German), a black angora beret from the Scotch House, and a small mink hat. Miscellaneous Tokens and Checks, BERKSHIRE, Hurst, National Scotch Church, silver-plated, 25mm (Burzinski 3241); LONDON, Crown Court, Scottish National Church, silver-plated, 25mm (B 1692) [2]. First extremely fine, second very fine, both toned £30-£40 --- Provenance: N. Beaton Collection An XRF analysis of the metal content of these pieces, sold with the lot, confirms that the silver content of the former is 76.96% and the latter is 60.21%.
