Whisky - Seven Bottles of "Specially Selected Very Old Scotch Whisky Same As Supplied To H.R.H The Prince Of Wales", recovered in April 1988 from the wreck of the SS Wallachia, which sank in September 1895 in the Firth of Clyde after being rammed in thick fog by a Norwegian steamer as it navigated toward open seas after leaving the Queen's Dock, Glasgow on a voyage to the West Indies. She remained under just 34 metres of water for nearly 100 years until sport divers rediscovered her. Spirits - A Stoneware Acid Flagon, stopper impressed "Richard Smith Acid Maker Glasgow", flagon impressed "Grosvenor Glasgow"; recovered in April 1988 from the wreck of the SS Wallachia, missing the original handle and stopper damaged; Together with a McKewans Stout Bottle, recovered at the same time. n.b. * Not for human consumption * The Lot is also accompanied by copies of the Vendors log book detailing his dives in 1988 where he recovered the items himself.
