A LATE 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK CLOTHES PRESS in two stages, the upper with moulded cornice and convex frieze above a pair of arch panel doors enclosing shelves and flanked by turned half pillars and corbels, the lower part with an arrangement of five drawers with turned wooden knob handles, raised on bracket feet. Signed in pencil beneath a drawer "Robert Davies Carpenter Cefn ? 1897". Width 52". Height 69".
A LATE 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK CLOTHES PRESS in two stages, the upper part with moulded cornice above a pair of doors enclosing shelves, the lower part with two short above two long graduated drawers with turned wooden knob handles and bone inlaid keyplates throughout, the whole raised on turned feet. Width 48". Height 84".
An 18th century North Wales oak press cupboard, Cwpwrrd Deuddarn, with moulded cornice and pendant drops above three arched panelled doors, the base with one short and two long drawers, a pair of panelled cupboards below, raised on stile supports, later repairs and restorations, 59.5in wide, 75in high.
A Pre-Colombian press moulded blackware bottle of lobed form, the neck modelled as a stylized male figures, 6 1/2in high; a stirrup vessel, the handle with feline mask, stamped with flower head designs, damage to spout, 6 3/4in high; and a flask modelled as a standing female figure, broken and repaired, some loss to neck, 6 3/4in high, probably Late Chimu. A George III mahogany and fiddleback mahogany clothes press, the angular cornice above two doors with oval panels enclosing cedar sliding trays, the base with two short and two long drawers with bone escutcheons, later ring handles and bracket feet, 204 high x 129cm wide, (lacking a sliding tray)
