A three stone emerald and diamond set ring, a central emerald 8mm x 6.8mm flanked by two old cut diamonds 5.6mm x 5mm, the whole set in yellow metal to shank. Mounted estimated weight of the emerald 2.00cts; mounted estimated weight of diamonds 1.57cts; total weight all in 5.3gms.
A white metal mounted polished coconut shell, raised on three pierced feet with wrythern cast capitols, the mounts embossed with a repeat pattern of lunette panels enclosing flowers, 41/2" high, together with a filigree white metal vanity case, the square outer cover worked with a monogram within Persian scrolls, the inner cover inscribed "To my darling wife - Iraq 1945 - with love Alex", 31/4" square.
