A scarce Indian steel Zafar Takieh (Salapa), with Koftgari decoration, the 'M' shaped handle with silver coloured metal ram's head terminals and Bengal tiger motif, the octagonal screw-tight scabbard encasing a 21.5cm stiletto, 54.5cm long overall. Zafar Takieh translates as 'cushion of victory', carried by Indian Princes when seated on the Masnad 'cushion' throne.
