Note: both lots 22 and 23 bear the same family armorial.

He has worked as a full time artist since 1995. Donald has developed a keen eye for the basic truths in Scottish tales, poems and myths. His portaits give the observer an insight to the nature of the subject. His work can be found in many collections, both private and public, in Europe and North America.

Has a scrolled floral design to neck and cover. Holds GH maker`s marks with London lion`s head town mark, Lion Passant Guardant certifying silver purity mark and N denoting the year of 1888. so holds left facing Sovereign head `duty mark`, certifying the payment of the duty. Measures 5 1/4" height x 4" diameter (13.3cm x 10.1cm). Total weight of 14.76 ozt.
