An incredible Victorian silver pistol grip handled knife and fork set for twenty two. By Harrison Brothers & Howson, with filled leaf scroll pistol grips, the blades and forks in solid silver, Sheffield 1889; together with three dessert forks and a knife from the same suite, a detached fork weighs 1 toz, weight overall 4.1kg approximately.Length of dinner knife 22cm. Length of dinner fork 19cm.There are 22 dinner forks and 22 knives. Also three dessert forks and one dessert knife. Three forks are detached from their handles and four need putting back more securely into the handles. Eight knives need the blades reset back into the handles more securely. Overall the handles are good, no seam splits, very minor dents and some rubbing to the hallmarks. The shell scroll details still very clear.

HARRISON BROS & HOWSON; a George V hallmarked silver four piece tea service of square form, on ball feet, Sheffield 1917/18, approx weight 60.20ozt/1872g (4).Condition Report: Light wear to silver through use but overall ok. The ebonised finial with a hair line crack. Handles with residue to the surface throughout and handle to coffee pot with a slight split at top.
