Football Mark Hughes signed Manchester United 12x8 colour photo. Leslie Mark Hughes, OBE (born 1 November 1963) is a Welsh former football manager and player, who most recently managed Southampton. During his playing career he usually operated as a forward or midfielder. He had two spells at Manchester United, and also played for Barcelona and Bayern Munich, as well as the English clubs Chelsea, Southampton, Everton and finally Blackburn Rovers. He made 72 appearances for Wales scoring 16 goals. He won a host of winners' medals during his playing career, including two Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups and two European Cup Winners' Cups. He also collected an FA Cup runners-up medal and a League Cup runners-up medal. Hughes was the first player to win the PFA Players' Player of the Year award twice, in 1989 and 1991. Football Legend, Alan Ball signed white England jumper. This size Large, lovely jumper has an England emblem stitched onto it and alongside this, Ball has signed in black marker pen. Alan James Ball MBE (12 May 1945 - 25 April 2007) was an English professional football player and manager. He was the youngest member of England's 1966 World Cup winning team and played as a midfielder for various clubs, scoring more than 180 league goals in a career spanning 22 years. His playing career also included a then national record £220,000 transfer from Everton to Arsenal at the end of 1971. After retiring as a player, he had a 15-year career as a manager which included spells in the top flight of English football with Portsmouth, Southampton, and Manchester City. Good condition. SEAN RICE [1931-97]. Running Figure - Footballer, c. 1968. bronze; unique; signed. 17 cm high overall [bronze 14 cm high]. Provenance: Artist's estate; Private collection, UK. Rice's studio overlooked Everton Football Club and we understand he produced football trophies for them, but this has not been confirmed. Rice was an interesting sculptor who worked mainly in welded metal - bronze, brass and steel - his had a foundry at his Liverpool studio, so cast most of his work himself. His main gallery was Alwin Gallery, just off Bond Street, London and they sold his sculpture very well, mainly to collectors from the US. [good condition - some variations in the patina in places - the figure is a bit loose on the wood base]. Buyers premium of 20% + VAT is payable.
