A collection of over 220 football programmes, in various condition, mainly from the 1960`s but some earlier noted, the programmes include 1955 FA Cup Final, 1951/52 Bury v Everton, 1955 Republic Of Ireland v Yugoslavia, 1965/66 Oxford Reserves v Aldershot Res, Brentford Res, Brighton Res, Charlton Res, Colchester Res, Mansfield Res & Notts Co Reserves.
1901/02 Sheffield Utd, a bound volume of football programmes, officially bound by the club, and the property of the club historian Mr Denis Clarebrough. The programmes are as follows, 1st team fixtures, Bury, Tottenham, Stoke, Sunderland, Derby, Notts Co, Man City, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Nottm Forest, Blackburn, Everton, Bolton, Grimsby, Small Heath (Birmingham), Newcastle (FAC), Sheff Wednesday, Wolves, Bolton, and Newcastle (back page detached), plus the very rare Friendlies against Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers, in addition are 18 reserve programmes including a fixture against Sheffield Club, and a fixture against Rotherham Town 1st team, overall the programmes are in good condition.

Manchester Utd, a collection of 26 programmes, mostly European, Big Match and Friendly issues, in various condition but good overall, the programmes include: 1963 FA Charity Shield, Everton v Man Utd, and the away issues of 63/64 Willem II, Sporting Lisbon, 1964/65 Strasborg, 1965/66 Nurnberg, Partizan Belgrade, 1967/68 Hibernians (Malta), 1968/69 Hamburg, Anderlecht & Waterford (Friendly 08/05/69), plus 5 other teams issues.
1952/53 Clyde (Brantwood Selected) v Everton, a programme from the game played at Celtic Park, Belfast on 14/05/1953. The game which was held in aid of De La Salle Orphan Boys Home, Kircubbin. The Clyde select team included Matthews and Taylor of Blackpool (split & worn spine, folded, the back page is marked and torn).

Parts 1 & 2 of the Centenary issues 21st November and 5th December 1989 both in good condition plus 22/8/1964 with a colour wrap with team groups of both Liverpool and Everton, slightly worn, Salute to Liverpool 1962, fragile, worn and 31/8/1963 with a colour wrap of Liverpool team group, very fragile and worn. Fair to generally good.

Liverpool 26/12/1985 and 13/3/1988 FA Cup, v. Leeds 2/10/1985 Full Members Cup and 11/11/1990, v. Bury 8/10/1985 League Cup,. v. Norwich 3/9/1986, v. Ipswich 3/4/1993 Directors Box, v. Manchester United 20/3/1993, 6/4/1996, 9/5/2005 Manchester Senior Cup Final and 23/2/2006 Youth Cup plus a few at a later date including v. EB Streymur in UEFA Cup played at Barnsley 31/7/2008.. Generally good.
1950`S PROGRAMMES. Over 30 programmes, a vast majority being late 1950`s English League teams including Rochdale v. Halifax 21/3/1959, joint issue Aston Villa home v. Cardiff 27/8/1955 and Sunderland 29/8/1955, Bolton v. Everton 27/4/1957 and Ipswich Town v. Sheffield United 7/4/1958, rusty staples. Most of the programmes have faults, some tears, writing on the cover and creased. Fair.
EVERTON / MAN UTD. Single sheet Everton Reserves issue v Man Utd, 17/1/53, Duncan Edwards in United team prior to his first team debut, Les Olive in goal for United and Bent, Jones and Blanchflower also listed. Probably ex bound volume and possibly slight trim but no writing. Small piece off top edge.. As described.
1950`S F.A CUP PROGRAMMES. 100 different programmes with the majority late 1950s in generally good condition. The home clubs include: 8 x Arsenal including 52/3 v Blackpool; 5 x Aston Villa including 52/3 v Everton; 5 x Nottingham Forest; 7 x Sheffield United including v Sheff Wednesday 59/60; 7 x West Bromwich Albion.. The lot also includes Newport Co v Arsenal 56/7, Huddersfield v Peterborough 56/7, Bury v Bolton 59/60, Bristol v Rhyl 56/7, Coventry v Scunthorpe 54/5 and Millwall v Hitchin Town 58/9.. A few have writing on the cover and other faults.. Generally good.

HULL CITY. Bound volume, 1950-51, includes covers, all first team games including v Galatasaray, Cup v Everton, Rotherham, FA Amateur XI v Universities Athletic Union XI, and 2 x Festival of Britain issues v Progres and Partizan.Slight scuffs and markings to black cloth binding, gilt inscription on spine.. Generally good.
