Mersey Soccer, a collection of monthly newspaper/magazines covering the 1970/71 and 1971/72 seasons, including FA Cup Specials. The newspapers covers the Liverpool, Everton, Tranmere, Wrexham, Southport, and Chester teams in depth. The magazines have been kept in the publishers folio, mostly in good condition, but a few of the earlier editions are torn and have small pieces cut out, but still a rare rememberance of Merseyside Football!
1910 Sports Gazette of Bishop Auckland, North-Eastern Daily Gazette, A collection of 18 large format papers, Four Page 'Final Edition' Issues, with outstanding Football content to Include extensive match reports from Newcastle United, Middlesbrough & Sunderland, Includes FA Cup Final Newcastle United v Barnsley [At Crystal Palace], FA Cup Semi-Finals Swindon Town v Newcastle United & Barnsley v Everton, FA Amateur Cup Semi-Final South Bank v RMLI Gosport [At Bishop Auckland] & extensive coverage of Football Leagues 1 & 2, with many smaller match reports of teams out of Northern area, but still excellent coverage! Vast focus on North-Eastern League, Northern League, & other local leagues, but also reports on Southern League games! The vast focus of the paper if on the North East. The later Issues include excellent Cricket coverage, the run is not Inclusive but starts at No.305 (08/01/1910) & runs to No.325 (21/05/1910), The newspaper was a weekly edition! The description does no do these papers justice, the content is outstanding and close inspection will reward! (conditions vary, edges tatty, covers detached on some, but content is not affected in any way)
