EVERTON Home programme v Oldham, 17/3/1915, last season before League football was suspended for the duration of the War, ex bound volume, spine repaired but occasional tears to edges etc. Both teams were challenging for the First Division title and Everton eventually won the Championship by one point from Oldham who finished second (their highest ever League placing). PRE_WAR A collection of seven pre-war programmes which have faults but no punched-holes . Programmes are Brentford v Oldham 34/5, Spurs v Bolton 21/2, Ipswich v Northampton 38/9 , Clapton Orient v Reading 37/8 and v Newport 37/8, Peterborough and Fletton v Southampton 25/26 (Southern League) and Everton v Tottenham 36/37 (Cup). Although they all have faults, usually wear or marks most are acceptable and even the poorer issues such as Ipswich v Northampton or Everton v Spurs are at least Poor-Fair and nearer Fair than Poor.
