Northern Command team includes Wolves players Sidlow, Dowen and Mullen. Western Command team includes Lawton (Everton), Welsh (Charlton) and Swift (Man City); Army v R.A.F 10 Mar 1945, in aid of the Army & R.A.F Benevolent Funds. The Army team includes Swift and Sproston (Man City), and Mercer and Lawton (Everton). The R.A.F team includes Mortensen and Dodds (Blackpool), and Matthews, Soo and Franklin (Stoke). Both issues have faults including fold, slight marks/wear/tear/ageing etc. Fair/Generally good

LIVERPOOL - SHEF WED 1930 Liverpool home programme v Sheffield Wed, 5/4/1930, also covers Everton Res v Shef Utd Res, probably ex bound volume although there is a slightly rusted staple . It could be that the programme has been professionally cleaned rather than being ex bound volume. Wednesday had ten games to play in April and this was the first. Wednesday won 3-1 and went on to win six of the ten games to become champions. Good
ARSENAL 1928-29 VOLUME An official bound volume of all the numbered programmes with the red covers removed in season 1928/9. There are 43 programmes in total including League and Combination matches, 20 League including Manchester United and Leeds United but missing single sheet v. Everton which was un-numbered, 3 FA Cup v. Stoke City, Mansfield Town and Swindon Town. Plus 4 neutral matches at Highbury, Millwall v. Northampton Town FA Cup 3rd Round 2nd Replay, Islington v. St. Pancras Schools Match, Aston Villa v. Portsmouth FA Cup Semi-Final and Ilford v. Leyton FA Amateur Cup Final. The balance of programmes are Combination matches. Slight fading to the cloth cover but otherwise good. Generally good

Most have score noted on cover, and score, scorers etc noted on line-ups page. Fair-generally good

Football autographs, a superb collection of signatures all neatly presented in an exercise book, mostly from 1946/7 season. 37 pages in total all bearing multiple Club or player signatures inc. Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton, West Ham, Southampton, Manchester City, Coventry, Stoke City etc. Also noted England (8 signatures) from the team that played against Switzerland at Highbury, 2nd December, 1948, also Motherwell 1946/7 with a letter from Tommy Anderson. All signatures have been laid down from album pages or extracts and the majority have been identified. All pages are individual and there are no back to back autographs. A fine collection well worth viewing.
