Mid-20th-century mahogany framed four-poster bed of 19th-century design, rectangular canopy with moulded frame supported on two writhen moulded columns, curated with further acanthus leaf and block turnings, 54-inch spring, all accompanied by floral print fabric, buttoned headboard, tie-back curtains etc. Measurements: 218cm (86in) long, 163cm (64in) wide, 202cm (79.5in) high. Mid 19th century mahogany framed four-poster bed, the arched canopy with pleated fabric, supported on carved writhen columns, shaped base and mattress custom made to fit frame, all presented with floral print fabric, tie back curtains. Measurements: 208cm (82in) long, 154cm (60.5in) wide, 203cm (80in) high. Mattress: 198cm (78in) x 152cm (60in)Condition report: Re-covered approximately 30 years ago still presenting well, overall condition good (see photographs). The beds came from a private home and were regularly used. General signs of use, some surface scuffs and scratches to the frame, especially around the corners. One corner post has a surface crack (photographed) which does not affect the structure of the bed. Comes with box base and mattress.
A large collection of 19th and 20th century textiles to include baby's pillow case with embroidered rabbits, satin embroidered pillow case, 1920s wedding veil, lace collars, three maids' aprons, undergarments, black lace collar, Dorothy bag, two pairs of ladies' under gowns, tray cloths, crochet doilies, two 19th century lace curtains and a hand stitched tablecloth, various strips of lace, embroidered hat decorations, plumes, embroidered tablecloths, some with floral borders, damask tablecloths including five large examples, and a tablecloth with embroidered initials 'RP' to one corner.

Lucienne Day - Linden - A pair of retro 1960's designer woven and printed curtains retailed by Heals of London. Each in the blue Linden pattern design with printed makers marks to the base of each.
