Four crewelworked linen curtains/bed hangings, 1870s in late 17th century style, the panels of linen colourfully worked in wools with coiling exotic blooms, birds and insects, mounted onto green satinised cotton/wool grounds, the linen panels approximately 195 by 94cm. the curtains each pair 320 by 146 and 214 by 145;, together with a single curtain applied with a poor condition crewelworked strip, used at the head of the bed 330 by 168cm;, a quantity of assorted green satin tie backs, panels, and trimmings; and a narrow crewelworked linen band c.1700 18 by 150cm.
An attractive bronze picture frame, by William Reynolds Stephens, of rectangular shape, resembling a grand fireplace with a central aperture revealed by curtains drawn apart and a Classical maiden sketching on a pad, whilst resting against an upright column surmounted a pan mask and inscribed 'Content' the accompanying pillar inscribed 'Envy', 17cm. x 29.5cm. signed 'W. Reynolds Stephens London' and indistinctly dated '1886'
