THE SHOTGUN EXPRESS - I COULD FEEL THE WHOLE WORLD TURN ROUND 7" (ORIGINAL UK DEMO - COLUMBIA DB 8025). A mega Mod mover from The Shotgun Express (featuring a young Rod Stewart) with their 1966 cut I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Round c/w Curtains. The record (original demo copy on white/Red 'A' Columbia labels, DB 8025) is in very sharp Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor surface hairline marks. With clean labels showing a small green circular sticker on the A side. Housed with original company sleeve.
Original vintage advertising poster The Guard Blacklight Poster featuring a psychedelic, dark and obscure illustration by Wallace Smith depicting a chained man with a sword seated on the steps leading up to a door, with chains, and a beast candle holder, black curtains. Published by Celestial Arts, San Francisco. Wallace Smith (1888-1937) was a book illustrator, reported and an artist, this poster is one of the illustrations by Smith for Ben Hecht's controversial novel Fantazius Mallare: A Mysterious Oath, both Hecht and Smith were fined a fine of 1000 USD each for obscenity by the US District Court. Good condition, small tears, minor creasing, minor staining. Country of issue: USA, designer: Wallace Smith, size (cm): 89x59, year of printing: 1969.

The approximate dimensions of the panels are: 292cm long, 198cm wide to base of curtain.The curtains are interlined and lined with leaf printed cotton fabric (rather than plain lining fabric). The top edge, one side edge and base edge are bordered in brown. This brown linen edging to the curtains with some possible subtle fading to this including to the interior (window side) of the curtain, with other subtle possible fading, but it is difficult to discern as the pattern is printed in a 'block' style with variable depths of brown.Some minor wear and 'pulls' to fabric. There is some creasing to the fabric as it is linen. Some stitching opening very slightly in places.There is no odour to the curtains.Please refer to online images for visual reference to condition. TWO PAIRS OF CURTAINSEach with yellow and blue bordersEach approximately 100cm wide (at the tops) 318cm drop overallCondition Report: Curtains in generally good order overall, but there are some visible moth holes to the camel coloured, probably wool baize type, fabric, largely but not exclusively to the base line of the curtains and elsewhere. The colour of the curtains is a slightly variable mushroom/camel colour depending on the folds and angle of light. The border is ochre and blue. The curtains are interlined and lined with a leaf print cotton fabric (rather than a plain lining fabric).One pair of curtains have approximate dimension panels of 324cm long, 310cm wide, The other pair of curtains have dimension panels of approximately 324cm long, 245cm wide to base of curtain.Some minor wear including rubbing to the fabric with minor bobbling and some tufts.Some loose threads and 'pulls' to the blue thread of the borders in places. The curtains are interlined, and the lining fabric is a printed cotton (rather than a plain lining fabric).One pair of curtains with panel dimensions approximately 300cm long, 310cm wide to base of curtain; the other pair of curtains approximately 300cm long, 235cm wide to base of curtain - all measurements excluding wool loop fringes which are to one side edge and the base of each curtain panel.Some minor wear and 'pulls' to fabric. Some 'puckering' to the ground fabric likely due to the extensive needlework.The fringed edges with some minor fraying and wear including to the fringe along the base of the curtains, presumably where it has rubbed along the floor.Please refer to online images for visual reference to condition.
