The front of the bank is designed to resemble a puppet theater stage, with detailed red curtains framing the figures. The word "PUNCH & JUDY BANK" is embossed at the top of the stage, adding to its whimsical charm. Punch, wearing his traditional cap, is shown holding a stick, while Judy appears alongside him. Side entrance with porch and seat, opening white metal framed windows with dummy green shutters and original blue checked fabric curtains, red tiled roof and two chimneys. One small hole to fabric of footboard which also has some fraying, please see additional photographs.

There are also inevitable some areas of wear commensurate with handling and use. There are three pairs of tie backs, see image. Please also see addition images of the edges and centres. It has not been possible to identify a distinct odour to these curtains. They probably smell of cardboard box having spent time in storage.

No obvious wear and damages. It has not been possible to identify a distinct odour to these curtains. They probably smell of cardboard box having spent time in storage.

A George III-Style Carved Mahogany Four-Poster Bed, 19th century in part, with later cream crewel-style pelmet and curtains below a moulded and dentil cornice, the carved and reeded front bedposts in the manner of Gillows with square bases and block feet, takes a bespoke 5'6" mattress170cm by 204cm by 251cmThere is no mattress with the bed - it is just the bed base (as photographed). The bed dismantles so that the posts are separate, however, the canopy will be one piece (see further images). The height of the base (excluding the upholstered section of bed base) is 32cm. Overall height is 252cm. We think that the bed posts and the bed canopy are 19th century, whilst the board section, side rails and fabric are later. The cornice has been cut (as photographed). Carved mahogany poles are in good condition. The bed base is heavily stained. The board fabric has some discolouration and staining, and some of the ropetwist trim is loose. Some black staining to the curtains (as photographed). Farbic around the canopy is in good condition.
