A Denby "Daybreak" dinner / breakfast set (approx 120 pieces) CONDITION REPORTS Some items with heavy wear, crazing and chips. Bowls are extremely worn. Most of the plates have wear and cut marks. Teapot and coffee pot appear OK. Overall, a reasonable number of items appear to be in good condition. This lot includes various lidded tureens, serving dishes, bowls, cups and saucers, coffee pot, teapot, jugs, plates. Please see photos for examples.
Rockingham and Rockingham style blue and gilt Victorian teaware. Condition Report: One cup cracked. Chip to rim of four saucers. One plate is severely cracked and glued, fragments missing. Teapot: lid cracked, large chip out of under side, gilt a little rubbed throughout. Cups: 5 of one, 6 of the other. Saucers: 4 of one, 5 of the other.
Three 19th century cups and saucers comprising a Copeland and Garrett together with painted vignettes of rural scenes in puce, a similar saucer and a floral decorated cup and saucer. Condition Report: Copeland & Garrett: The cup has a fine 1cm crack from the rim running downwards, slight rubbing to the glaze in the bottom of the cup. Gilding and decoration is good. Puce cup saucer and similar saucer, there is slight rubbing to the gilding commensurate with age. Floral decorated cup and saucer again rubbing to the gilding but no cracks or chips.
