A silver sugar castor, by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, assayed London 1908, of octagonal form with domed and pierced lid and out swept base, height 15.2cm, together with two silver twin handled circular trophy cups, one by Alexander Clark & Co Ltd, the other by A E Poston & Co Ltd, assayed Birmingham 1911 and 1914 respectively, both left blank , and a Victorian small silver circular salt, by Harwood, Plante & Harrison, assayed Birmingham 1884, having fluted side, raised upon triple ball supports. (total weight 302.5g). (4)
18th century Chinese saucer, polychrome decorated with five figures seated in a landscape, reserves and en grisaille to the border; also a collection of other, mainly Chinese 18th century, including Canton famille rose and Chinese Imari pattern saucers, tea bowls and cups, some a.f., some worse.CONDITION REPORT: All items are chipped and cracked.
Early 19th century Coalport style tea wares decorated with floral sprays and gilt against green border grounds, including, sugar box; two slop bowls; milk jug; four side plates; twenty-two various saucers and twenty-two tea and coffee cups, some a.f.CONDITION REPORT: One slop bowl has stain/heat damage to the base. The sugar bowl's handle has been repaired, the rim has a hairline crack and it's stained inside. Three saucers have hairline cracks, one is pinned.Wide brim cups - three are cracked, one with pinned handle, one lacking handle, one smashed.Four small cups have hairline cracks, two are discoloured. This has been well used and shows signs of use, rubbing to the gilding and decoration.
18th century Chinese armorial tea wares, comprising: slop bowl; six tea bowls; two coffee cups and four saucers, each with blue and gilt star rim and central crest in iron red, blue and gilt, some a.f.CONDITION REPORT: All teabowls bar one are cracked. The bowl is cracked. The saucers are cracked. All have rubbing and wear to the decoration.
