The Princess Royal, all on J.R Ogden & Sons Ltd wooden bases Birmingham, 1935 maker J.R Ogden, lidded cup Birmingham 1923 maker Henry Clifford Davis, height 34cms Birmingham 1925 maker S Blackensee + Son Ltd. Total silver weight 3320gms.Condition: There is a dent to the right side handle of the tallest cup. Otherwise in a good condition with no noticeable issues to report.

Birmingham 1933, Birmingham 1912, lidded cup, Sheffield 1937, Roberts & Belk.Smallest trophy with small dents to the top rim. Other cups are in a very good condition. No dents or deep scratches.

Condition Report Slop bowl- good condition.9 teacups- 5 in good condition with minor wear to gilding. 1 with glued repairs. 1 with riveted crack to rim. 1 with small rim chip. 1 with haircrack and minor chip to rim. 5 coffee cups- 3 in overall good condition. 1 with replaced handle. 1 with haircrack.9 saucers- 1 with small chip to rim. The others in overall good condition with minor wear.
A group of Ridgway teawares, circa 1825, painted with a `Japan' pattern of flowers, comprising a sugar bowl and cover and a trio, pattern 2/1305; also two London shape salmon-pink ground trios and a saucer dish, pattern 2/661; a `Japan' pattern dessert plate and a pair of green ground dessert plates painted with landscape vignettes, ( 15). Condition Report The salmon-pink ground cups all with some light brown staining to the glaze. Otherwise in overall good condition with some typical wear to the gilding and some light surface scratching in places.

A group of English porcelains, early 19th century, comprising; a Chamberlain's Worcester oblong sucrier and cover, painted with panels of exotic birds and insects against a cobalt blue and gilt scale ground, red script mark Chamberlain Worcester, 11cm. high; a Flight, Barr & Barr chinoiserie pattern coffee can, impressed mark; and two H & R Daniel claret ground coffee cups and saucers, pattern 4412, (7). Condition Report Sucrier and cover- finial of cover restored. Some repair to inner flange of sucrier.Coffee can- minor wear to gilding.Coffee cups and saucers- one cup with restoration and crack to rim. The other cup with one glued foot. Some wear to gilding. Saucers- one with haircrack to rim. Minor wear.
Jewelled Binding.- Spenser (Edmund) Epithalamion and Amoretti, number 2 of 14 copies on vellum (limitation amended in manuscript from 12 copies to 14), etched portrait, engraved title-vignette, head & tail-piece, magnificently bound in tooled green morocco with onlays and opals, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, covers with onlaid central Tudor rose in white and red morocco set with 6 small opals in bezel cups and ringed by 10 smaller Tudor roses in white and red all tooled in gilt, surrounded by swirling floral and leafy tendrils in gilt with small onlays of flowers in red and white, the whole within an intricately tooled border of flowers and leaves with dense pointillé background, spine in six compartments with five raised bands, one with title & author in gilt and date at foot, the rest with gilt leafy sprays around small onlaid rose in red or white, red morocco doublures and endpapers with gilt border, doublures with panel formed by gilt rule and 10 small white rose onlays, signed at foot of rear doublure, g.e., preserved in velvet-lined green morocco drop-back box, 8vo (c.245 x 155mm.), John & E.Bumpus, 1903.⁂ A superb binding recreating one of the first Sangorski & Sutcliffe jewelled bindings. The design is based on a 1903 photograph of George Sangorski's original binding and tooling pattern and was carried out by members of the present day firm using a 40-year old dark green Levant goatskin no longer available and new brass tools cut specifically for this piece. Dan Wray, Head of Restoration and Conservation at Sangorski & Sutcliffe, executed the gold tooling, which took five weeks and used 25 books of 22 carat gold leaf.

A tiny amount of rubbing on the coffee pot lip with a small amount of paint loss. Susie Cooper set good - one large chip to one plate. A couple of brown stains. Chips to the base of the pink jug, and lid of tea pot, but generally condition is good.
