An 18ct gold open face centre seconds pocket watch signed "Thos Russell & Son, 12 Church St, Liverpool", the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and outer minute divisions and up down indicator to 12 o`clock, plain case hallmarked Chester 1906, maker`s mark "TR", Fitted with a three quarter plate English lever movement with train jewelling, `Breguet` overcoil and signed "Tho. Russell & Soon, Makers to Queen Victoria, Liverpool TEMPUS FUGIT", numbered 108502. Case diameter 52.9mm. Movement is currently functioning, but would benefit from a service as the jewel holes are full of debris and the plates look filthy. Seconds stop function and up and down work both appear to be working correctly. Case is hallmarked 18ct on the inside of the caseback and the dust cover, it shows signs of general wear commensurate with age and material used with light scratches, marks and tarnishing. There is however signs of denting and pitting to the case band to 4 o`clock, in addition, the inner lips look slightly deformed with effect of the bezel not sitting flush but do appear solidly attached. The pendant bow fits well to the pendant with a positive action. The dial is slightly dirty, with minor discolouration, some very light marks only visible at certain angles underneath a loupe and some of the enamelling to the numerals is looking worn, but otherwise it appears free of cracks and splits. The hands look to be in a generally pleasing condition, but due to age are showing

A George V 9ct rose gold keyless wind half hunter pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals bordered by outer minute track, subsidiary seconds to six o`clock, case front bares a black enamel Arabic chapter and is hallmarked Glasgow import 1924 makers` mark RS, numbered 358270, fitted with an unmarked movement with train jewelling, Swiss lever escapement, Breguet overcoil hairspring and bimetallic split compensated balance. Case diameter 51mm. 9ct gold pocket watch, movement functions intermittently and may simply be in need of an overhaul. Case is lightly scratched and scuffed from general wear which may polish out, there are also multiple light dints the worst of which are on the case back behind 10 o`clock. Dial is in good condition, blue steel hands appear to have been running a little high which has left a concentric score line on the underside of the glass and resulted in some loss of the blue finish on the hands. Case diameter 49mm. Waltham pocket watch, movement functions poorly and intermittently and would benefit from being serviced anda replacement mainspring. Case is lightly scratched and scuffed from general wear and may benefit from refinishing as marks appear superficial and may polish out, there are a couple of light dints to the case back and chapter ring which shows some chipping to the enamel. There is a little trapped dirt and debris below the glass however the dial appears in fair condition with a few light scratches and marks, hands are in good condition, inner glass shows a few light scratches, outer crystal is missing.
