1962 Vespa Douglas Sportique Grand LuxMake: Vespa Model: Douglas Sportique Grand Lux Year: 1962Mileage: 35286VIN: 5FC1001Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 620NBJTransmission: Contact AuctioneerAccording to the vendor, this 1962 Vespa Douglas Sportique Grand Lux was restored two years ago, with the work involving a full body sandblast and repaint by a specialist body worker. All the mechanicals were stripped and parts replaced as necessary using new genuine or good quality used items. While the recommissioning emphasis was on originality, the scooter has been upgraded to 12-volt electronics, with a Pinasco 177cc cylinder and lightweight flywheel fitted. The engine and clutch were all reconditioned by DiscoDez in the West Midlands. In the vendor's opinion, the Vespa is now fully ready for road-use. The Douglas was originally registered in September 1962 and is showing 35,286 miles on its odometer, albeit not warranted. The Vespa comes with its V5C, original buff logbook, owner's handbook, spare parts list, old 1969 tax disc, and a photographic record of the restoration. There are MoT certificates from 2014, some recent invoices and an unused stick-on numberplate. Some spare parts also come with the bike.
1960 Lambretta Li 150 Series IIMake: Lambretta Model: Li Year: 1960Mileage: 2VIN: 836756Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: TYJ621Transmission: Contact AuctioneerThis Lambretta Li 150 Series II has been owned by the vendor since the 1980s, but had to be re-registered in 2001 as it had fallen off the DVLA system. The original date of restoration was March 1960. We're told that a lot of restoration work has been carried out over the last three years. The paperwork folder includes the V5C, showing four previous registered keepers. Just two miles are showing on the odometer - presumably this was reset when the scooter was restored. There's no MoT - as an historic vehicle, the Lambretta no longer requires one. A spare set of keys comes with the bike.

1962 Agrati-Garelli Capri 80 ScooterReg. no. 877 HBMFrame no. AG 17203Engine no. 18028126To expand and diversify its market share, in 1958 Garelli merged with another Italian manufacturer called Agrati who were producing a successful range of scooters called the Capri with engines ranging from 50 to 125cc. With the ever-increasing competition for buyers in Italy, Garelli found a growing demand for scooters overseas so the majority of Capri scooters were exported to this new market. This 80cc model came in three specifications and used a Minarelli engine. This Model D dual seat Capri is said by the owner to be in very good condition and apart from the wheels has not been restored.Comes with – a current V5C, a Capri Scooter instruction manual and a spare wheel.**Catalogue amendment, there is no spare wheel.**
1963 Triumph Tina ScooterReg. no. 975 RNKFrame no. LS 13773Engine no. LS 13773Designed by Edward Turner in 1962 the Triumph Tina, and later the T10 scooter, followed on from the 250cc four stroke twin Triumph Tigress, also sold as the BSA Sunbeam, but unlike them it was put into production to try and get a foothold in the lucrative easy to ride, twist-and-go scooter market. They both used the ‘Continuously Variable Transmission’ (CVT) system that Triumph had patented back in 1959 and as their adverts said, ‘No gears, no clutch it couldn’t be easier’.This rare-to-the-market Triumph Tina was fully restored some time ago and has had little use since. It is a very nice example of a Triumph Tina and mechanically very interesting with the early Triumph CVT drive system.Comes with – a current V5C, an original buff logbook and some other DVLA paperwork.
