The televised concert witnessed the Beatles and The Rolling Stones on the same bill for the second time in their history. The headline of the NME read 'Greatest Pop Talent Parade the World has ever Known' and all the sets received Rapturous applause. Elvis Presley even sent a recorded acceptance speech.
